merging conflicted files prior to release 1.0.4.0

just before publishing this latest release (1.0.4.0), i noticed the file size was actually smaller than my last release!

to make a long story short, i had an OS related issue, upgraded to Windows 11... and am dealing with weaving 2 versions of the main code together. also had to merge in missing audio files.

section by section, i am moving through the files and working in code that is out of sync. i might have it done as soon as Friday!

just wanted to let everyone know what was going on!
